Who we are
Dan LeDuc is the owner and lead carpenter of LeDuc Construction.
Dan was raised in a family full of tradesmen and nearly every trade was represented at family dinners. Growing up in a family like this has left it’s marks More than just believing that “Popular Mechanics” articles are great conversation starters, Dan was pre-disposed to becoming a “Jack of all trades”.
His interests, however, were not limited to wood working and building. His attention to detail has made him a people-person who makes connections naturally. After studying forestry he served cross-culturally for two years in the context of churches and disaster relief. Dan met his wife, Domini, while cutting his teeth in construction management and they moved to North Carolina to pursue graduate programs in Christian ministry.
Since graduating, Dan and Dom have seen fit to find a living where he gets to exercise as many of his gifts as possible. They have planted themselves in a number of communities in the Raleigh and Wake Forest area, and have found natural networks to grow a business within. After eight years in the industry and nearly two years in business for himself, the company is growing by word of mouth and the ethos of LeDuc Construction is becoming clear.
Quality- Dan loves doing good work meant to last. Sometimes it’s necessary to balance project specifications with other constraints, but quality is never sacrificed for short gains that don’t serve the customer.
Customer Service- Great carpentry isn’t just raw materials and tools. Clear communication throughout consult, design, scheduling, and executing build up a customer’s confidence that they are being well served doing business with LeDuc Construction.
Competent Creativity- Building codes, manufacturer specs, and trade journals sound like they might stifle creativity, but knowing the “ins and outs” of building systems opens up new options for designing solutions for customers.
In a nutshell, the company ethos is craftmanship with attention to detail and people.
